Bootie Dilemma: Save or Splurge?

Perfect, right? I fell in love with them the moment I spotted them in a Piperlime ad mailed to my house. That ad had a 20% off coupon attached, so I just knew I could make these booties mine. With the discount, the total comes to $228. Now, if I wanted to return another pair of shoes I bought recently with some birthday money (ahem, Rachel Roy), I could certainly have them. But I haven't made that decision yet. While exploring other options, I came up with these less expensive alternatives that are worthy of consideration.

All of these are available on Amazon, which bodes well for me. I also have a 20% off coupon for Amazon, plus a $50 gift card.

I can't decide if it's a good or bad thing that I over analyze things like this. I may end up not being able to get the Hudson's out of my head, thus returning the Rachel Roy's to be able to buy them. Or I maybe I choose the most reasonable option and settle for one of the alternatives.

What do y'all think? Do you love the Hudson's? Do you love the Rachel Roy's? Do you think any of the alternatives would be a good decision?

What I would buy with $200 at Piperlime

Here are a few items I think to be worthy of splurging for, at $200 or less each. I particularly love the pastel sandals and skinny jeans! I have to admit, I'm kinda bummed that I can't win my own giveaway right now....

Or, if you would rather get the most bang for your buck, you can get this entire outfit for $202! Can you tell I'm loving scallops right now?!

Enter to win the $200 Piperlime gift card HERE! Hurry, this giveaway ends at 11:59 pm CST on Friday, March 29th!
*Also valid at Gap, Old Navy, Athleta, and Banana Republic!

Shades of Blue

Blazer: J. Crew (in navy here) / Shirt: J. Crew Factory (retail version) / Pants: Hudson / Clutch: Target / Necklace: Banana Republic / Earrings: Target / Shoes: Coach

If you remember this post about J. Crew's new spring collection, you'll recall that I pinned a mint gingham shirt as one of my spring must-haves. While the J. Crew version was more than I was willing to pay, I later found its twin at J. Crew Factory for a much cheaper price, as documented in this post.

For weeks I've dreamed of ways to wear it and potential color combinations (I can't wait to pair it with pink or yellow for spring). This past weekend, as I looked in my closet and noticed an abundant amount of blue staring back at me, I decided to go for a monochromatic look with pale mint jeans, a cobalt blazer, and ombre chandelier earrings.
